Pumpkin Patch

It seems we've all taken our children to the Pumpkin Patch at the same time....Samantha... Lindsey... :) I hope it was cooler for everyone else than it was for us. The temp said 75 but it was at least 90 at the patch. Poor Drew was panting.

Mommy and me...
This one looks good, Mom. Think you can carve Elmo into this?
I sure love mechanical rides, even if it took 3 adults to supervise in shifts.
Don't look too close, we are all sweating profusely in the October heat of the OC.
Sometimes I liked the petting zoo, sometimes I was quite scared and backed into Mommy several times for protection.
I've already heard the pumpkin-face jokes :)
Oink. I liked the fake pig better than the real ones. They smelled worse than my diaper after I've had lots of fruit.
I did love the Ducks though...who is surprised?
Here I am, riding my first horse. Don't tell anyone he's mostly hay.
Here's how tall I am...unfortunately neither Mommy, Daddy, Grammie, Grampy or Auntie Kels bothered to actually see how tall I was.

Daddy's Girl

I sure have enjoyed spending all this time with Daddy. I love being able to see him everyday and have him all to myself. Here we are, snacking together...
I love eating grown-up food.
Part pretzel, part cracker, all delicious.
Don't ask...

Drew "Legs" Gratton

Here's Drew in her big-girl car seat, it's much more roomy to fall asleep in and to catch up on some reading.

Watching my stories

Drew watches The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland every morning with Boppa and sometimes in the afternoon too. She usually doesn't like to be disturbed.

Drew and Boppa sharing the big chair while watching the Angels game...Maybe next year, guys.

More beach pics

Enjoying some lunch at the beach.
The birthday boy, Cooper, and Mom Kendra
The birthday boy's big sister, Taylor. Her birthday is 2 days after mine!

Turn ons: long walks on the beach and
cool sunglasses.
Turn offs: sand in my mouth and
in my pants, and
icy cold Pacific Ocean water!

Everydays and Birthdays

Some days you just gotta dance...

My friend, Cooper, turned 1 and I went to the beach to celebrate his birthday!
I wasn't sure I liked sand at first....
...but then I ate it. It's not so bad mixed with peanut butter and jelly.
Here I am with Daddy and GodPappy/Uncle DJ/David. I'm showing them where the buffet is.

Love the 3CBoys

On Saturday we went to visit my cousins Cole, Carson and Cade and to watch them play football. They were a lot of fun to play with and I especially loved their toys.
Here is Cade, holding my hand. He was very sweet and tried to hug me many times but usually ended up tackling me instead. Good thing I'm tough.
Carson loved to pick me up, I didn't mind either. His team, the Giants, won. I don't really know what that means but I did blow kisses to every single boy on both teams. Daddy said, "uh-oh."
Here is the best picture of all 4 of us. I choose not to smile when asked.
I gave hugs to all 3 of them and they let me. Cole is the quarterback for the Saints and they won big!
I get to carry my own toys now. However, 5 seconds after this picture was taken, I fell backward because of the weight imbalance.

First Baseball Game

Can you believe I've been to a hockey game, an NBA game, a Memphis Tigers basketball game and football tailgate all before a single baseball game?

"Go Angels!"
"Sweet seats."
Nice day for a game.
If you look closely, you'll see a hint at what I'm going to be for Halloween this year.

Big Girl!

Here I am in my big girl car seat!  I've been in it for a few weeks and it's nice to be able to see more than just my feet. I was getting just a little long for my baby carseat.

Here are Daddy and me at Scooter's Jungle (does that name sound familiar, aunt Lindsey Petersen?)going down the big slide. It was a little scary for a little girl like me.

My friend, Noah!

Mommy's friends from college and "Uncle" Josh came to watch Baylor get beat down by Wake Forest last week and they brought Noah, who is just 3 weeks older than me!
I like to do a little reading in my chair first....
Noah is a really good clapper and dancer, I tried to follow his moves.
I know it looks like I'm stealing Noah's cup, but he was offering it! We liked to swap cups every now and then.
By the end of the game, we were buddies who shared everything!
