Flat Carson

My cousin, Carson, sent me Flat Carson for his school project. We were supposed to take a picture with Flat Carson doing something we enjoy. We are watching the Ducks play the Sharks in playoff hockey at Danny and Boppa's house. I have my sweatshirt and my hockey bear (named Teemu) and Flat Carson in my chair.

What to do when you reach record highs in the OC

On Saturday after volleyball, we took our first trip to the beach of the season. The tide was extremely low so there were lots of rocks and not a lot of nice sand. But I didn't care. I love the beach!
Here is Daddy, working on his farmer's tan. I wanted to stay in the water the whole time.
Wee!
Eating my sammich on our peekneek, just another Saturday in the OC.
...working on my back
On Sunday we swam in our pool and Daddy and I hung in the little pool.
Then after my nap, Daddy and Boppa took me golfing while Mommy and me drove the cart.
Daddy's checking the slope of the green for me.

Ok...here are pictures from actual Easter

Great-Grandpa (Papa) came by Saturday night and dropped off my new BFF. Here we are, hanging out in my clubhouse.
The Easter Bunny was very good to me this year, as you can see. My favorite part was hunting the eggs, even though I didn't care too much about what was in them, unless it was candy. More on that later.
Me and "Tinkbell"
Oooh! A hairband with Oscar the Grouch was in this egg.
"Help you peas!" (We heard a lot of that on Easter, Drew hasn't quite gotten the hang of "you" and "me" yet)
I love candy. I just had breakfast, but there's always room for candy.

Here's a full body shot of my Easter dress, I loved spinning in it like a ballerina.

Part 3 of Easter Saturday

Meagan and I got to ride ponies at El Niguel even though we were supposed to be 2. Don't tell anyone but we got to ride for a long time without anyone else in line. I think Meagan is going to have ponies for her birthday, yay!

Dear Izabella and Olivia,
As you can see I got to ride on my first horse on Saturday! His name was Rascal. He was very sweet and I loved to pet him. I must have rode 25 laps before Mommy made me get off because it was naptime. Now I know why you love horses so much! Love and miss you lots, Drew

Next...The Egg Hunt and Magic Show at El Niguel

Check out my loot!
Meagan and I are comparing goodies in our Easter baskets.
Hmm Meagan, you seemed to have gotten more candy than me. Let me help you count your eggs again....

If I make a cute face, maybe they will give me more chocolate.
Mommy says we're about to see a Magic Show. I have no idea what that means but there are kids sitting and bubbles and I want to be a part of it.
First actual Easter Egg Hunt....a little bit of chaos!

Note to parents: direction-following is no match for a bubble machine

First stop: El Niguel Easter Egg Hunt

Here I am standing in line to see the Easter Bunny at Boppa's golf course. There were lots of kids with their baskets and I had a hard time waiting to see the "Eater Bunny," on several occasions I tried to jump in other kids' pictures.
I thought I'd practice my smile a bit before meeting the Easter Bunny.

This was the 3rd session of waving while waiting in line. Notice the fatigue setting in the last few seconds.

My tongue is hanging out, that means I'm happy.

A quick photo with Mommy and Daddy before the hysteria begins.
And one with Boppa and Danny.

Weekend Fun

The weather has been fairly warm lately so I've been trying to get a light tan. Today I thought I'd do a little gardening with owl. "You better eat this rock, Owl, you need your strength."
Hanging in my ride. Don't hate, it gets great gas mileage.
I'm trying not to get any tan lines before Hawaii.

Check out my new "superhero" suit - there are floatation devices on every side imaginable though we didn't test out their effectiveness today. I just liked the skirt.
Running around in my pretty dress at church.

On Saturday we saw Baby Hunter up in Norco. He was so cute and I just loved touching his face and hair and ears. I also liked chasing the cat that was there, he was sneaky!
Oooh, ice.

Supercoupe!

Like I said, Daddy would be no match for me in my new Supercoupe (an early Easter present from Danny and Boppa). Apparently it is the 30th birthday of the Supercoupe -- wow, just like Daddy! -- and Mommy and Danny swear it's gotten smaller since Auntie Kels had her own Supercoupe.

I love it and threw quite a fit when I couldn't sit on the pieces while Daddy was trying to build it.
