Favorites from Christmas Day

These are in complete reverse order...I don't know why Blogger doesn't put them in the order I upload them in, and I just didn't feel like rearranging them.

Back to where she started...tights and a diaper.

Some nice poses in front of the tree with her gold purse and an ornament.
Looks like she's ready for lessons, Carol! Getting some early tips from Kels on the "panno."
"More happys to open?? When does it end? I love Christmas!"
She actually is balancing on one foot. Don't ask me where she got her balance from because it surely wasn't Mommy or else the next picture would have been of a broken ankle or me flat on my face.

Drew got a Build-a-Bear monkey dressed as Ariel, which of course, she loved! She is saying "la la la" and moving her monkey back and forth.
Ok, NOW the Princess Drew moniker is appropriate. Her royal highness got a chair from Grammy and Boppa that actually says her name and comes with a scepter.
Not satisfied with opening the dozens of "happys" she got herself (notice Minnie face down next to her), Drew is now helping everyone else out.
Her majesty with the royal suitcase Auntie Kels got for her.
Here she is licking the syrup off her plate. We honestly have no idea where she learned this so I'm blaming it on her genes (Daddy).
Get...it...off...my...head, Mom.
Drew played with all of her toys until she couldn't do another thing without her morning juice.
Santa was good to Drew this year, he even blew up her Dora bounce house for her.
Daddy saved his gift for Drew to give on Christmas morning. Her shooting percentage to-date is about .985.
Santa came!!

Favorites from Christmas Eve

I'm the best present of all, right Mommy?

Say cheese!

More Favorites from Christmas Eve

The aftermath....
Thanks for all my happys, Grammy.
Oohh, tea!
The great-grandkids: Cole (9), Sierra (13), Drew (17 mos), Cade (3), Carson (7)
Almost got one with her looking...
Loves to giggle with Grammy and Boppa
My favorite picture of the day.
Still working on everyone looking at the same camera.
Drew in her pretty dress! No, the headband did not last, neither did the purse.
Getting into our tights...

Purse and pearls

Now you know why I scream at Santa and am not worried about him bringing me stuff...this goes for both Grandmas.
I got to watch Auntie Mo try on her beautiful wedding dress!
Mommy and Daddy on their way to Mommy's office party.

Much to her Daddy's dismay, Drew is turning out to be a purse and pearls kind of girl.....but then she chucks it across the room and beats up other kids at the gym daycare. Who knows??

Pre-Christmas festivities

This is my friend, Meaghan. I'm telling her to smell the flowers. Meaghan sat on Santa's lap without crying or anything, she even smiled. I don't get it.
One day we'll play golf together at El Niguel with our daddies.
Here I am watching the Christmas play with auntie Kels and Mommy. I like Santa as a puppet.
Here's another one of me trying to get away from Santa.
And another one, had someone told me he was the one who brought me all these cool toys, I would've sat and smiled nicely.
One of Drew's favorite words to say is "weeeee!" - which she is saying while riding the mini merry-go-round
She loved checking out all the tall "tees."
And smelling them.

So we're a little late in posting this....we did get a tree a few weeks before Christmas, not the day after.

My first trip to Disneyland!

So far I've seen Daisy Duck (we parked at "Daisy 6A"), Mimi (Minnie Mouse - on someone's shirt), and we're about to ride a Choo Choo (tram to the park).
What a treat! Mickey and Minnie were at the entrance right when we walked in, I waved and waved to them. I probably would've been happy just sitting there waving.
"Meeekey Moush! and Mimi!"
The mandatory picture at the entrance.
The first "ride" was going to see the Princesses near Toon Town. I was scared of Belle, unsure of Sleeping Beauty but I loved Ariel. She is my favorite Disney character anyway, I wake up and say hi to her everytime I wake up (Kelsey gave me a frame with the Princesses on it). I call her "Air-rull."
I waved to every character I saw....Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Daisy, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella, all the reindeer, and of course, Santa.
I love Daddy so much for taking me to Disneyland...even though most days I tell him "no" when I see him.
The Christmas Parade was my favorite. We spent most of our time waiting for the parade and waiting for the fireworks, but the parade was totally worth it no matter what Boppa says.
See? Grammie loved the parade too, we said "wow" a lot!
This is what I looked like most of the day. I loved looking at everything.
